Conference weekend / Go Aggies!

Not much to report over the past couple of weeks. We have our daily routine and are simply living life. Kendal loves going to school each day, Casey's classes are going well, and Peter and I are playing and doing our thing at home.
Casey's had two games. The kids and I went to a game two weeks ago (the team lost). They won this past weeks game which was away at Gooding.
Kendal has begged to play tennis for a while so we went out on her day off of school to play tennis and enjoy the park on a beautiful fall day.

Casey and Kendal had school off Friday so we headed down to Logan to see family, enjoy some Conference, and support the Aggies for homecoming.
We headed down Thursday night. My parent's got new bunk beds for the kids to sleep in. After the first night, and removing scary paintball masks from a dark room the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Friday was rainy so we had a relaxing day at my parents. The kids were dying to ride bikes and play outside, so in between the rain they made their way out. We hit up Chick-fill-a for lunch and let the kids get some energy out. Friday night Katherine came home, and David and Anica came for dinner. After dinner we watched the classic Doris Day, Glass Bottom Boat (One of my favorites : ).

Saturday morning we had a good breakfast and put on conference. The kids played and colored around us. We headed downtown to attend the USU homecoming parade with the kids. We hit up Hallmark for an ornament premier and then enjoyed the parade. The kids got a plethora of candy and some fun things (USU cheese, Frisbee's, squishy footballs). When the parade finished we slowly made our way back to North Logan to eat some subway before Conference. After Conference Casey headed up to the USU homecoming game. Minus the 45 min. rain / lightning delay (where he made his way all around the stadium and even onto the field) he had a good time and got to see the Aggies pull out a win! While Dad and David went to conference the girls took the kids for a bit to ladies night at Deseret book. I scored a couple of deals while the kids got Auntie Katherine to read to them.

Sunday morning I made waffles and we enjoyed some more conference. Kendal put together a genealogy sheet during this session. We ate a yummy lunch and headed out as the afternoon session got underway. We made it to Casey's parents just as conference ended and got to spend the rest of our day there catching up with Casey's parents.
