O what a wonderful holiday season it has been!

Casey and i have had a wonderful holiday. We were able to spend time with family, and each other. When school let out for Casey i still had one more week of work, so he helped my dad, then we went to Idaho from the twentieth to the twenty-sixth to be with his family for the holidays. I love spending time with Casey's family, we only get up there on holiday's or the occasional school break, so to be with the whole family was fun.

We had the Darrington family party on the Sunday before Christmas; if i recall there was about 54 people there, the entire family; everyone made it and no one was out on a mission this year. We had lots of fun being with family.

We spent a lot of our holiday in Idaho playing games. We learned Wackie 6, played pit, but most of all we played with Brett and Vanessa's Wii. It's always a fun experience playing with Casey's family, they are all so funny and great to be around. We also made some pretty awesome gingerbread houses if i do say so myself. But i'll let you be the judge of that.

We recieved a plethora of wonderful food storage items from Casey's parents. I just have to say that they are such wonderful people, and i enjoy being a part of their family. I love them all so much.
Another wonderful surprize that i recieved for Christmas was a phone call from my brother David who is currently searving his mission in Louisiana. We spent and hour and a half talking to each other. It felt just like old times when we'd stay up late talking. I miss him, but i am grateful for the wonderful example he is showing me by serving the Lord. I look up to him and am grateful for him in my life.
After a snowy and windy week in Idaho Casey and i came home the day after Christmas. I was able to spend time with my cute little nephew Campbell. He's growing and changing in so many ways and it justs astounds me every time i see him. Casey and i got some movies, books, knives, a pepper grinder, some gift cards, and games from my family. We are so thankful to them for their love and prayers that they send our way.

The monday after Christmas was when my dad's side of the family held their Christmas party. We got together at my grandparents house. My cousin Billie and her husband Eric had their baby girl Emma's blessing there. It was such a sweet experience and they have such a cute family. We played a few games, including the cereal game that i've adopted from Casey's family. (It turned out well by the way). We had fun talking with family, and catching up on things.
We'll now it is New Years Eve. The year is drawing to it's and and with it many memories. I look forward to a new year. New adventures, and many more memories to create. 2008 has been a year of many smiles, laughs, happiness, and a few tears, but overall a good year to look back on. See you all in 2009!
