Surprize, Shock, Awwww

Surprise -
Sunday morning just before two in the morning my water broke. I did not expect to go into Labor before my due date, i actually thought i might have to be induced. Well little did i know Kendal had plans of her own to come earlier than expected. ( I honestly think it's because Casey had prayed that Kendal would come earlier rather than later).

Shock -
Labor was progressing wel (painfully well). When i first arrived at the hospital the nurses noticed that there was some merconium in my discharge, so i knew there could be potential issues, but hoped for the best. As things continued, the merconium color got worse, and worry set in. It wasn't until about five hours into my labor that my nurse decided we needed to check and make sure Kendal wasn't breech. Low and behold my daughter was bottom down. Nothing could be done, so they quickly ordered a c-section. It was a bit of a shock to go through six hours of labor and then end up having to have a c-section.

Awwww -
After the news of a c-section things moved quickly and i was in the operating room before i knew it. Casey watched the whole thing (Crazy i didn't think he'd want to) Kendal graced us with her wonderful presence at 8:41 in the morning on Sunday the 15Th. She came out, and all was well weighing in at 7 lb 1 ounce. and stretching to 19 in. long. I was elated to have her arrive safely and in awwww of the sweet miracle i beheld.

Because of the c-section i was in the hospital for a few days. I still have six weeks of healing a head of me, but thankfully i have drugs and a cute daughter to distract me from the pain. Kendal is doing very well. She's healthy, happy, eating and sleeping well. Casey and i are beyond happy to have her in our lives. She is a true blessing from heaven.

THANK YOU so much Family and friends for your love and support and all that you've done for us!!!! We appreciate and love you all so much!!

Thank you Sisters!!!

Yesterday i was blessed with a wonderful ward baby shower given to my by Janalee Hubbard, and Aria Spear. First of all i just want to give a big THANK YOU to the both of them for the time, effort, and love they put into the shower. It was wonderful! Thank you also to the sisters in the ward who came to share their support, and love with Heather and me. I feel so privleged to be in a ward with such carring and loving sisters. I truly love and appreciate all of the sisters in this ward; you are all such wonderful examples to me. I look up to you all. I love to see the moms in the ward with their kids, you all are shinning examples i hope to live up to. I am so happy to be able to bring this little girl into the world! Thank you again.

Here are a some of the things i recieved from the shower. I feel bad, i wanted to put everything in its place for the baby that i neglected to take a picture of it all, and of the diaper cake that was so cute.
