For lunch we went out to eat at Girties. We had some of Casey's family join us and my whole family was able to come up for the day. Kendal was thrilled to have pizza and run around with five of her cousins and play on the arcade games and rides.
After we had our fill we returned home. Kendal tore through her gifts from family and was giddy the whole time. She received some awesome gifts from our family and has been playing with, snuggling with, and wearing them since. The kids played pin the nose on Olaf (When I say play I mean peak under the blindfold, move each others noses, and cheat like only toddlers can, o well ; ) They also had to race and thaw a frozen heart (heart ice cubes.) They all had to resort to sticking them into their mouths because their hands were to cold. I also had some Frozen coloring pages for the kids to color. I kept it simple and short since we had a house full of people. We ate cake and let the kids play while we played catch up with family.
Later in the afternoon we let the kids watch the Movie Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Kendal requested pancakes for dinner so we had a breakfast. My family was able to stay for the day and all but David and Anica spent the night Saturday. Kendal and Peter loved having Campbell camp out in her room with them. Sunday my family joined us for church and left soon afterwards.
I'm so thankful for the family that we're blessed with and the opportunity we had to have them over this past weekend to celebrate a very special little lady! Heartfelt thank you to everyone!
