Sometimes she'll add a Dr. vest and call herself Dr. Anna. Often she dances around or plays Mommy to her doll in it. She's even taken to bowing in it. Today I said thank you to her and she bowed and said your welcome in a very regal way. Such a fun imagination she's getting.

- "Hip hip hooway, superhewo save the day." -Alice
- Peter, "When I met Chewbacca he was pointing at my shirt so I just booped his finger."
It's a game with us, when you poke a baby's nose you say boop. Well apparently you can boop woolies also.
- Alice loves Band-Aids. She asks for them all the time. It used to be for any hurt / owie on her. When that want enough she started biting her finger then asking for a band-aid for it.
- Alice has decided the fridge is free reign lately. She'll help herself to yogurt, and string cheese, sometimes she'll get the milk. I boiled eggs a while back so now she thinks she can grab any egg and crack it to eat. She'll also down any strawberries she sees in there.
- Reading scriptures tonight, Alice walks in pink leopard jammies, oversized pink boots, flower lei, and a handful of crackers. When we got after her she just looks at us, lifts her fist full of crackers and says. "I just love my crackers!"
- We have a spice shaker of Smith's salt (something I grew up with and love, now my kids love it.) Kendal referred to it as sprinkles and taught Peter to say that when they were little. Alice wasn't around for those years, so now the kids say the correct name. However Alice has dubbed it somersault. "Can I have da somersault pees!"
- Alice started to hate me taking her pictures. I told her the pictures were for Grandpa and Grandma. Now when she smiles for pictures she says "cheese Gama, cheese gampa!"

We needed to take a section out of the table. Alice was upset that we broke it, but quickly recovered once it was back together.
- Alice learned to crawl out of her crib awhile ago, so we lowered the mattress as far as we could. Lately she has been on the verge of climbing out again. Until brother taught her to scale things to get into her crib. Now she insists on climbing into her crib on her own. Sometimes just to be funny and then not let us take her out for a bit. Silly girl!
- "Aunt Katherine, why are you putting jello on your arms?" - Peter ( Katherine got a sunburn and was putting aloe vera on)
- Kendal has been learning a song in choir called "Lost Boy". It talks about a kid joining Peter Pan going to Neverland. Kendal has been singing it a lot and even Pete has picked it up. Now Alice has joined in and she sings "won, won, lost boy" quite often (when she's not belting out let it go!) And she's gone through a phase of calling Pete "Peter Pan!" It's hit and miss now when she calls him that, but it's something I want to remember : )
- Cousin James was over to play. Alice had a cape on. (She likes to say "I a super hewo!") With it on. She went over to James, put a blanket on his back and said ""Ames a super hewo!"
- Lately if you tell Alice to sit she first jumps up and lands with a thump on her bottom to sit.
- Alice drew all over the keyboard with a marker Kendal left by it. (The things a toddler can do while you try and go to the bathroom. Oy!! ) While scrubbing it off (thank you Magic easier) I told Alice she was naughty. She then whispered back to be " o tay."
-Kendal got to hang out with her best friends today. When we dropped them off she happily went around their farm with them. On her way home she said her highlight of the day was naming two of their quail. I said i thought it's be spending time with her best buds. "Oh ye, that too!"
- A while back we got a carpet samples square from home Depot. Alice carried it around everywhere for a couple of weeks. Even to the car and wanted to take it in stores.
- "I love being outside!" Peter is thrilled the weather is warming up and Daddy fixed his bike!
- Alice is on another shoe kick. She wants them on all day, even get nap. She goes between her boots and church shoes, with a mix of slippers or her sneakers at random times.
- Alice picked up the "let it go" song from kendal's Christmas ornament in December. She's randomly sang it a couple of times so i thought I'd let her watch the actual song. Well she's been hooked since, she sings, yells, spins, puts her arms out, stomps her foot, and belts out let it go! ALL OF THE TIME! (I might be regretting my idea to show her the song.)
- Alice knows she's in charge. When she gets up in our arms post nap or in general she demands to "go" and points, yes go, and even pushes our faces towards her desired destination.
- Alice kept calling Casey honey at dinner. "Hi honey, tankoo honey, here honey, peese honey." So funny.
- We had pizza for dinner. Later the same night Alice took her Valentine's bucket and put an extra piece of pizza from the table. Sat down on the couch and ate her pizza out of the bucket while also singing into the bucket.
- Alice's go to now when she's upset is "I hurt!" Or . . . hurts. Today she was unhappy (teething : / and wanted her post nap hair mess out of her face. She kept trying to push it aside out of her face telling us her hair hurt.
- I went to get Alice from her nap and she handed me her doll and refused to get out till I changed her baby's diaper on the changing pad twice. This kid cracks me up everyday.
-Alice is into pulling the chairs up the the counter to get "cackers" and "Tandy". Today i preempted it by turning the chair over. So she was frustrated, then gave me a stern look, pulled my hand, pointed to the kitchen, and said "Tandy go!" Over and over. Hard not to give in to this one.
-Alice is into "boots" (books) and will have me read them all day long. It's fun to see her "read" the books on her own or to her babies. She also pretends to grab and eat food in books, makes the sounds of animals, and pretend snores when someone is asleep in the book!
- Alice got sang to enough times on her birthday she got the song stuck in her head and said "happy to me, happy to me!" Most of her birthday.
- I knew there was a "potty dance" but Alice took it to a whole new level. She grabbed a duplo Lego potty, put it in between her legs and danced around singing "potty, potty!"
- I love how toddlers form their words. Here's some favorites from Alice. "Tank u" - thank you. "Kenol" - Kendal. "Peder" - Peter. "Happy happy happy!" " Shhh" while holding her finger to her lips. "Hippy" - snoopy. "Ow" - meow. "Ho Ho Ho" - Santa. "Poon" - spoon. "Tandy" - candy "peese" - means penguin. "doodles" - noodles, "boot" - book, "jezus" - Jesus
-I was getting the kids to take a picture together. (Christmas jammies!) The kids were their usual cooperative selves. Peter decided to shout boogers instead of cheese and guess who picked it up. Yep, oogers is Alice's new word of the day; thanks Pete.
-The kids made large gingerbread ornaments at home depot last weekend. Alice had their strings on her arms and was going around with them as her "accessory" . Then she decided to hold them out at arms length and sing ring around the rosies with them, even falling down in the end.
-Alice has learned to say "up peese". It is identical to how Kendal said it as a toddler.
-Alice is into animal sounds and can give quite a few on demand. Her favorites are neigh for a horse, mow for a cat, Moo for a cow, twee for a bird, and ladaladalada for a fish!
-Alice had a little phase of wanting to get naked, she still likes her pants off, and is thankfully not doing full naked as of late. However she's still instant that her dolls have no clothes on ever!
- Alice loves to dump out baskets of stuff all over the house. She unloaded our book basket one night, and accidentally tripped and fell into it. She ended up staying there and reading books. The next day she unloaded to basket yet again and intentionally sat in the basket reading get books one by one.
- We we're over at Casey's parents and shared a room with the kids. Late one night Casey and I came in to bed. Peter asked if we were there and we said yes. Then he said goodnight and gave two smacks and gave two blows that sounded more looks he was launching spit across the room. (It's the thought that counts right ; )
- Alice picked up the game ring around the rosies in nursery. Since her siblings are in school and then play outside a lot she's taken to bedtime to get them to participate in her game. She'll pull them up to get her way and loves when they go around with her singing. She's also knows the words "ashes, ashes, ashes" and "down" at the end. It's cute until were trying to be serious about scriptures and prayers then we just do our best to keep a strait face while she insists on playing ring around the roasies.
-I got Kendal deodorant, because she's older and for active days she could use it. Peter got really upset that gee can't have any. Nothing I said justified him not getting one (the kids are very into things should be equal) he settled for a new book instead.
- It's inevitable that your child learns to say no, however Alice raises it up a notch by saying "nononononono" continuously.
- Alice has learned to shush us. She puts her finger to get lips and shushes us, it started one night during a prayer and randomly does it now.
