Running through April

Pete had his track meet in Oakley last week. Pete came in first in his 800 meter run. Pete got first in the mile with a personal best time and he took second with a personal best in the triple jump. Pete and his buddies did the 4x400. They came in last, but enjoyed doing it together!

Kendal's meet was on Twin Falls on Friday. We were lucky enough to have the day off of school so Casey and I got to see both of her runs. Kendal got a season best in her mile and wasn't feeling in top of her game for the 2 mile. We're proud of her hard work this season and we know that how much her coaches are pushing it has been a growing season!

This kid is officially taller than his mom!

This last week Pete's meet was on Tuesday in Gooding. Since I've missed his first two meets I decided to take a half day and go out and support him.  Pete was just shy of his pr in the mile taking second place. He took first in the 800. He was fourth in the triple jump with a personal best. His 4x400 team got second place and he had a great split to help his team.

Kendal's meet was on Thursday in Wendell. I didn't make it out to her meet and she didn't have the best runs of her season, but she tried.

It's ISAT testing for Alice and Pete lately. Pete is very much over it, but Alice is taking it in stride. Alice only has a couple of books left and she'll be done with her honors! Alice had activity days on Friday. I joined in because one of her leaders needed to be out of town. The girls cleaned up the park. There's a thing in Idaho right now to try and get 250,000 hours of service in before July 4th this year. Last I heard the total of recorded hours was in the 100,000's. Kendal lead the music today and Casey gave a great talk on covenants in Sacrament meeting.
